VIDEO: Managing Content Chaos with Digital Governance
This month on CMS-Connected, Scott Liewehr and Tyler Pyburn welcomed Digital Governance Advisor & Author Lisa Welchman to discuss content chaos and best practice solutions.
Lisa began her career in Silicon Valley in 1995, literally writing HTML for Netscape, and was a program manager for Web publishing at Cisco Systems. In 1999, she founded a consultancy focused on large website management called WelchmanPierpoint. There Lisa conducted early governance projects for clients including government agencies, NGOs, higher education institutions, and multi-national business organizations. WelchmanPierpoint was acquired by ActiveStandards in 2014, which then merged with CrownPeak in 2016.
Currently, Lisa acts as an advisor to global organizations seeking to mature digital governance and speaks globally on issues related to digital governance, the rise of the Information Age, and diversity in the digital technology sector.
Oh, and she wrote the book on Digital Governance
Lisa is also the author of Managing Chaos – Digital Governance by Design, published in February 2015 by Rosenfeld Media.
Managing Chaos provides clear and cogent guidance on how a governance model delivered through digital strategy, policy, and standards—and abetted by a culture of collaboration—can help the enterprise develop an effective approach to digital transformation.
