Digital Clarity Group Adds Former J.D. Power CEO Steve Goodall to its Board, Bringing Industry-Standard Customer Satisfaction Survey Expertise
June 16, 2015, New York – Digital Clarity Group (DCG), the analyst and consulting firm focused on customer experience management (CEM), announced the addition of Steve Goodall, formerly CEO of J.D. Power and creator of the industry leading J.D. Power ratings, to its Board of Directors.

Goodall is the retired president and CEO of J.D. Power and Associates, a leading market research firm specializing in customer satisfaction and buyer behavior. He started his career at J.D. Power in 1978. He was named president in 1996 and served as president and CEO until 2008, leading the company’s global expansion as well as diversification into other industries beyond automotive. He oversaw the sale of the company to The McGraw Hill Companies, Inc. in 2005.

Currently, Goodall is a Fellow at Stanford University’s Distinguished Career Institute and an investor and Board Member in Outsell Inc., a research and advisory firm specializing in publishing, information, and technology, as well as several other early-stage private companies. He also is the founder and president of a small education-focused charitable foundation.
Goodall received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing and a Bachelors of Arts in psychology degree from California State University, Chico. He also has an MBA from the University of Southern California.
