Digital Clarity Group Begins Fifth Year with New Leaders and Innovative VOCalis Service
April 12, 2016, New York – Digital Clarity Group (DCG), the award-winning research and advisory firm focused on customer experience management (CEM), marked the beginning of its fifth year in business with announcements about new leadership hires and a major new service called VOCalis. Both developments are aimed at driving continued growth and innovation.
DCG’s VOCalis initiative for assessing IT project success and customer satisfaction will fill critical knowledge gaps that exist today. “There’s huge unmet demand for real intelligence about why implementations fail or succeed,” noted Scott Liewehr, DCG CEO, “and this is especially the case for an emergent business practice like customer experience management, where DCG is currently focused.”
VOCalis was introduced at Adobe Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada, in March 2016. DCG is currently onboarding VOCalis participants from among the communities of technology vendors and service providers (including digital agencies and systems integrators) that implement solutions for customer experience management. The VOCalis program also available to brands and buy-side organizations with current or pending implementation projects.
Alan Pelz-Sharpe has joined DCG as Vice President and Managing Director for VOCalis. He brings extensive experience working with senior executives in global settings and his deep knowledge of channel and partner management, project and change management, and digital transformation to this leadership role. He previously held senior roles at Ovum, Wipro and most recently 451 Research where he led research on global business applications.
To further fuel its growth, DCG also announced that Lois Brennan has joined as Director of Business Development. Brennan’s string of sales success includes Forrester Research, where she tripled revenues in her territory in two years as part of a new Agency team, and IDG, where she managed more than half of the top global accounts. Her strong relationships with agency leaders will contribute to the uptake of VOCalis, as agencies and integrators bring their clients’ projects into the assessment program.
As part of DCG’s growth strategy for 2016/17, Liewehr said that Stephen C. Goodall, who joined DCG’s board of directors in April 2015, will be assisting company management on an interim basis. In this role, he will help shape operational excellence at DCG, and his vast expertise in customer satisfaction assessment and measurement will prove to be invaluable for VOCalis. He is the retired president and CEO of J.D. Power and Associates, a leading market research firm specializing in customer satisfaction and buyer behavior. He started his career at J.D. Power in 1978, was named president in 1996, and served as president and CEO until 2008, leading the company’s global expansion as well as diversification into other industries beyond automotive. He oversaw the sale of the company to The McGraw Hill Companies, Inc. in 2005.
